Eye Institute of Reston

We are honored to have been chosen to create the new logo design for the Eye Institute of Reston! This fun design was certainly a challenge.

Problem

We were tasked with creating a new logo. Part of the project requirement was to include family members initials in the design while holding true to the eye visual. Did we mention this will also be tattooed on the client? Challenge accepted!

Solution

Starting with a foundational idea of an ambigram, we were able to utilize stylized characters while taking advantage of the naturally occuring white-space of the eye visual. While not a true ambigram, the subtle design elements help trick the mind into seeing a certain symmetry.
